CJ Callan Construction has recently completed a number of refurbishment projects as part of the Rebuilding Ireland initiative, through Louth County Council Minor Works Framework.
The projects consisted of complete strip out and refurbishment of previously derelict properties and each one required varying levels of technical ability and co-ordination throughout.
CJ Callan Construetion was thoroughly competent in their role as Main Contractor & Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) and provided all relevant necessary information to the design team for the duration of the project.

Construction of a 10 unit housing development at Clos Na Manach, Carlingford, Co Louth €1.3m
CJ Callan Construction were appointed as Main Contractor and PSCS for the construction of 10 housing units in the form of 9 two storeys and 1 bungalow, there were significant civil works carried out also.
These works took place within an existing occupied development and CJ Callan Construction successfully ensured the safety of all members of the public throughout the project.
All works were carried out in line with current BCAR requirements and CJ Callan
Construction management team were quick to respond to any questions from ourselves and any member of the design team.
A well-motivated and driven site management team brought this project to successful completion with an emphasis on both Safety and Quality.
With this development finished out to a high standard, we would look forward to engaging with CJ Callan Construction on future projects. CJ Callan Construction have also recently been appointed to carry out routine maintenance on our housing stock throughout the North East.

CJ Callan Construction Ltd has been engaged by Louth and Meath Education and Training Board on a number of projects to date. They held the role of main Contractor on a €1.5m build at St. Oliver’s Community College Drogheda, and more recently acted as PSCS on a refurbishment at Sion House, Colåiste na Mi, in Navan.

I wish to confirm that Meath County Council has appointed CJ Callan Construction Ltd as Main Contractor and PSCS on numerous projects under the Minor Building Works Framework. All works were carried out under Short Public Works Contract PW-CF6.
Projects concluded recently included No. 14 Tailteann Street, Navan. The project comprised of a bedroom and kitchen extension to an existing local authority dwelling under the 2017 Local authority adaptation scheme. The works also included internal alterations and bathroom adaptation works, all to an occupied property. The project was completed within the allotted time-frame and CJ Callan Construction Ltd showed a high level of professionalism throughout the project and I would not hesitate to appoint them again in the future.
CJ Callan Construction Ltd has since been reappointed to the 2018 minor building works framework and is also carrying out Reactive Maintenance in one of our urban districts.
